Introduced in 1998, Yamaha R1 set in motion sportbike style trends are still visible on the bike's performance today. Pointing Yamaha R1 front end and minimalist tail section gives the bike profile that is very flexible - suitable for dry literbike weighing only 375 pounds. Initial tests to see R1-132 hp accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in less than three seconds, from 0 to 100 mph in less than six seconds, and the highest maximum speed of 165 mph. The price for the Yamaha R1 is not known.
